Time for the angels

Handmade vintage Christmas card by Ingeborg van Zuiden

Hi there

When I was archiving the photos of my blue angel Christmas card, which I showed in my former blog post, I noticed I had another one named Blue angel, haha. So as it’s a blue day, I thought to share this ‘oldie’ too! Why not?! This one is also in my beloved Victorian style with that pretty angel. I gave it a Dutch touch with the sweet vintage ticket. The flowers are from Petaloo. I love those flowers. Nowadays I tend to make all the flowers I use mostly myself. Love to do that!

Anyway…… time for more angels, hence the clock charm I added.
Enjoy today!

Blue Christmas angel

Handmade blue victorian angel Christmas card by Ingeborg van Zuiden

Hi there!

It’s a blue day here in the Netherlands. Lots of rain, so grey skies. Great weather for indoor creativity! In the meantime the pile of paper art projects to be photographed is growing and growing 🤩 You should see it. It’s one big pile, litterally. I’d better start taking pictures today I think, as otherwise they will fall off the table. Anyway…… this is one of my latest Christmas cards. Not in traditional colours this time, but in blue and green with lots of bling! Why not?! The base of the card has a pretty black velvet layer with a hand coloured mandala pattern. I am so in love with all those victorian or vintage snow angels. I can’t help myself, haha. You’ll find them on almost every Christmas card, haha. I decorated the inside of the card with one of the pretty victorian angels as well. This weekend i’ll be putting up the Christmas tree. It will be hard to do so physically, and it might take 3 days to do so, but I can’t do without. My husband will help with it, so it must work out that way. I’m looking forward to angels coming down! I’ve already send you one here. Oh no….. two! 😍😇
