Family tags

Set of three handmade floral pink tags with family of three girls by Ingeborg van Zuiden Weijman

Hello there,

Family. What is family? We are all family. We are all connected, if you like it or not! It’s not your bloodline per definition. It’s what you make of it, how you connect with each other. Of course the ideal would be to have your bloodline close together as a beginning and grow larger from there, but i’ve experienced differently. I hardly have any family left. Most of them became traitors, let me down, were jealous, or whatever other negative reason they didn’t want to see me anymore. I am close to two nieces only and of course I have my beautiful man and when we’ll get married I’ll get a whole new family along with it!

It’s hard to digest and/or understand that your bloodline doesn’t want you in their lives. But I know i’m not the only one. So many families are teared apart. So…. I now choose my own family, my own tribe. I recently got new neighbours. Totally not my types at first sight, but they are the most beautiful souls around! So kind, fun and so open and helpful! So what’s family?! It’s everyone you connect with in love with your heart. So many people are disconnected from each other. So so sad! We truly need to start listening to our heart, our inner child. Children, when still very young never make a difference. They play with every child they meet. How did it get this far that we are not like those children anymore? The most important reason will often be something to do with the material world, competition, greed, addictions etc. So many people are lost! It’s all so sad. But alas, the only thing I can do is set the right example, and love as many other people as I can, when my own family can’t love me. My belated husband once said, if i’ve only saved one life in my life then i’m already blessed and content. If everyone would save one person, we would be full circle and be one big family again! Anyway…. where we go one we go all! That’s how I try to live as much as I can. No judgement, if possible. Be open to differences. We have to unite! I’m screaming for that for years now! When are we taking true steps and not just talk about it? Love is action! Do it! Make a call, write a letter, a postcard, bring someone some flowers or whatever. Spread kindness and love as much as you can! That’s my inspiration behind this set of three handmade tags in vintage floral style. It was fun to create these. Simple but fun. On the back of these tags there is room for a little note. Each tag has a different colour of a flower charm and on the front is the beautiful family of three girls surrounded by sweet pink flowers. I hope you enjoy this inspiration! Have a wonderful weekend! Let love guide your heart always!

Love and blessings
