Poinsettia Marie

Details of handmade Poinsettia flowers from Heartfelt Creations dies and stamps by Ingeborg van Zuiden

Hello there!

Another Christmas card show off today….. Poinsettia Marie!
I finally managed to take pictures of all the cards I recently created. I told you I had a big pile on my desk waiting to be photographed in my former blog post. Well this was the pile, hahaha.

Did I exaggerate?

OK, so this is a A5 size Christmas card in a vintage and/or traditional style. I created the poinsettia flowers myself with using Heartfelt Creations poinsettia dies and stamps. I am addicted to those flowers from Heartfelt Creations. They are so pretty! I just can’t help myself. I love making these flowers and can’t stop anymore, hehe. This card has a lot of glitter as well, as you can see. I gave Marie some pretty wings to fly. Golden wings. So beautiful. I once found those wings in a drugstore in Germany. I must go over there soon to see if they sell them again, now in this holiday season. I live near the German border, so it’s easy for me to pop over to the neighbours and check that out. Well……. easy…… when my legs want to carry me through it. Not thát easy, ok, but in and out of the car, go into the shop for a little while, is something I can manage, hopefully. I used dew drops to mimic the holly berries. These are little acrylic drops that I bought in some kind of a discount shop. They normally sell such drops in the department where you can buy candle accessoires. I love those! I bought them in several colours. My favorite glitter is from Ranger’s Stickles (Diamond or Unicorn). I hope you enjoy the inspiration for today! I’m off creating more!
