Hydrangea Regency

Blue purple flowers on Regency card

I must have been some Victorian or Regency lady in one of my past lives as the ‘need’ to use these pictures is so passionately pushing its way to my artwork all the time. I can’t seem to stop with it. It’s definitely something I inherited from my mother’s side of the family. My mother loved flowers and Marie-Antoinette kind of stuff also and of course i’ve been strongly influenced by that as well. But it’s more than that. It is in the way I tend to behave and love the conservative way of living. It is so in my character and in ‘me, myself and I’, that I could never do it differently. I don’t know…… this style just ‘fits’ me as my velvet winter gloves, haha.

Anyway……. back to the future……
I dream of living with these flowers all the time and try to manifest coordinately. Recently my home doctor came to visit our home and she was so much in love with the roses in the front garden that she insisted in seeing the back garden before she would leave. It does me good when people are happy in my house and garden. That’s what it’s all about I think. I want to inspire and bring my own happiness, with the flowers and all I love over to you. That’s what i’m living for. I just love it!

Here is my latest Regency style card, filled with pretty blue and purple Hydrangea flowers. I hope you like it. Also some pictures of a garden from my past. I so much miss my little paradise, which was located in Almere, though I do have created a new paradise. Only sad and difficult thing is the soil in my current paradise is terribly hard to manage. It’s river clay, pffff. But that’s another topic, haha. For now i leave you with the Regency lady!
